Where and what supplies i need to personally repair paint chippings and crack on the front of my car.?

I live near SF. I need tape, spray paint, and the sand thing i dont know whats it called. What kind of tape and sand thing do i need(the names). Where can i get all these items? There are cracks on the front of my body kit and paint chippings. I need the supplies so i can just do it myself. you can get what you need at any parts store like advance auto parts or auto zone,they will have any thing you need to repair them with and do a pretty good job with it,good luck i hope this helps.
