High quality painting supplies?

I'm going to paint my room blue. I wanted to know what brand of paint would be good. I'm going to home depot and lows. Also, which types of rollers and paintbrushes are good?High quality painting supplies?
If you're painting with a light blue you can use between mid-grade and high quality and achieve a good result. Remember high grades will be longer lasting and most likely more washable. If you're painting a dark blue the same applies except that at least two coats of paint will be necessary to achieve the depth of the color and possibly a gray primer may be needed. When you choose your color, usually the back of the card will indicate whether a gray primer is needed. If you pay more than $20 per gallon at the big box stores you're probably getting a decent can of paint.

Sherwin-Williams is known for their quality products and sometimes you pay a little more, but you get great service and they're always happy to help you throughout your project. They actually have a new product to compete with the big boxes. It's called Design Basics (comparable to Lowes's Valspar) and it's just over $20 per gallon. Whether you go to the paint store or the big box, if you're using a dark vivid color expect to pay around $30 per gallon and you may possibly have to use a primer also.High quality painting supplies?
I have had good results with just any paint EXCEPT the cheapest ones sold; they don't roll on as easy and don't have as nice a finish.

For brushes %26amp; rollers get whatever the paint can recommends but again I'd stay away from the cheap stuff. If you get good tools and clean them thoroughly after each use, they will last for many years.
