What supplies do you need to oil paint?

if your a beginner i recommend filbert brushes, a rag, a covered pallet, a pallet knife, and water soluble oil paints. they wash up and thin with water and dont have the horrid fumes of regular oils...but blend just as nicely. if you have any questions on techniques e-mail me. good luck! What supplies do you need to oil paint?
you need:

oil paint, if painting in an enclosed space try to experiment with different brands.

oil paint brushes: try to have a decent amount of brushes like around 25 or, so remember you have to clean and take care of them so paintings won't come out the you don't want them to. have a small Array of brush shapes and sizes.I stick more to round, flat brushes with a large brush an 2 fan brushes but this is me if your more comfortable with other shapes then stick to them. by brushes in bundles rather one at a time if buying a large amount and have a relay small one for sighing your painting. and AVOID student grade brushes as the bristles will get into the pitcher.

paint medium: oil paint is thick so you need a thinner to apply Asia. This is a personal mater because some thinners work differently than others. but I use Turpinoid and liquin original feel free to use others DO NOT ingebecauseuse this will harm you and maybe kill you.

brush cleaner: this will be help full when cleaning your brushes.

palette knife: this is a help full tool for mixing paint and no this is not a real knife. this can also be used to make designs they come in many shapes see which ones you like

an easal: this is were you will be painting there are table top witch means you have to place it on a table an standing which stand on the floor. they can be coastfull so find one that fits your budgite

a palette: this is basically a tray were you mix paint find one that you like I use a 9' x 12' plastic palleteWhat supplies do you need to oil paint?
