Painting supplies + Toronto?

Does anyone know where i can find some cheap painting supplies in Toronto, Canada? Also does anyone know how to get your paintings shown in a gallery? ThanksPainting supplies + Toronto?
the best ones I've found are downtown....some of my faves are 'Above Ground Art Supplies' on McCaul Street and GWARTZMAN'S (Spadina) plus there is always Loomis and Toles as well as Curry's (there one on Yonge, Dundas and Queen). Also, during the school year, York University has a small art store in their fine arts building that has good quality stuff for a decent price. As for getting your work show in galleries... the best thing to do is Network!!!! Make friends with other artists, which will help because then you all can keep each other informed about shows. If you're in school, there should be flyers or announcements posted, perhaps in the fine art areas, wanting artists for various shows. Also, here's a link i found from Toronto Culture (link below). Best place to perhaps contact or go down to is OCAD. Hope this helps :)
