Liquid white is slow drying and keeps the canvas slippery for ';wet-on-wet'; painting. Gessos are quick drying and used for priming and sizing the canvas before painting. Gesso should be dry before painting.What is liquid white vs white gesso in painting supplies? please be specific. Thank you.?
Try mixing a little White with Linseed Oil to make Liquid White. Good Luck. ps Put very LITTLE Liquid White on your Canvas
